If you're managing a warehouse, organizing a large conference, or tracking inventory across multiple retail locations, creating QR codes one by one is simply not an option. It's time-consuming, prone to copy-paste errors, and frankly, a waste of your valuable time.
The Solution: Bulk Generation
With OmniQRHub's new Bulk Export feature, you can generate up to 500 QR codes simultaneously. The process is entirely client-side, meaning your sensitive inventory data or attendee lists are never uploaded to a remote server. Everything is processed directly in your browser.
How it Works
- Step 1: Prepare a CSV or Excel file where each row contains the data you want encoded (e.g., a URL, a serial number, or plain text).
- Step 2: Upload the file directly to the Bulk Generator.
- Step 3: Select your design preferences, including customizing the colors and uploading a central logo.
- Step 4: Click generate. The tool will parse your file, render all 500 QR codes instantly, and package them into a single ZIP file for download.
This workflow saves hours of manual labor and ensures 100% consistency across your entire batch.
A Practical Bulk Workflow
- Prepare a sheet. Put the content (a URL, ID or text) in column A and, if you want, a file name in column B, such as
table-12orSKU-4411. - Upload or paste. Upload the CSV or Excel file to the bulk generator, or copy both columns from your spreadsheet and paste them into the box.
- Pick a size. "Print" gives images about 1200 px wide, which is enough for labels and table tents. Choose "Large" for posters.
- Download the ZIP. Each code is saved as a PNG named after column B (or its content), with the quiet zone scanners need already included.
Tips for Large Batches
Keep each entry short. Long URLs make denser codes that are harder to scan when printed small, so use your own short links where you can. Test a few codes from the batch with a phone before sending hundreds of labels to the printer, and keep your spreadsheet: it is the record of which code went where.
Everything is generated on your device, so the batch size depends on your computer. Up to 500 items per batch works well in modern browsers.
