Frequently Asked Questions
How does a UPI QR code work?
A UPI QR code encodes your UPI ID (like name@upi) in the standard upi:// URI format. When scanned with Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, or BHIM, it pre-fills your payment details for instant transfer.
Which UPI apps support this QR code?
All major UPI apps work: Google Pay (GPay), PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM, Amazon Pay, and any other app that supports the UPI standard.
Is my UPI ID stored on your servers?
No. OmniQRHub generates the QR code entirely in your browser. Your UPI ID is never transmitted to any server.
Can I set a fixed payment amount?
Yes. You can optionally include a fixed amount in the QR code. The payer's app will show the pre-filled amount, though they can usually modify it.
